Two family comedies starring Lindsay Lohan. In 'Life Size' (2000), 14-year-old Casey (Lohan) is dispirited and downcast following her mother's death, and feels she and her father (Jere Burns) are losing their closeness. When she comes across a book of magic spells she decides to make use of it and try to bring her mother back to life. But her well-intended plan goes hilariously wrong and instead she brings to life her fashion doll Eve (Tyra Banks). Eve is delighted to find herself in the world but has a lot to learn and Casey does not feel prepared to take her under her wing. 'Get a Clue' (2002) follow the exploits of Lexy (Lohan), a privileged twelve-year-old who has spent her entire life amongst the wealthy and elite of Manhattan. She prides herself on her ability to get the scoop and serve it up in her school's gossip column. However, when a photo she has taken of her teachers is published in the city's daily paper, one teacher goes missing. Lexy sets out to solve the mystery along with her working-class friend Jack (Bug Hall). |
