The BRC Global Standard for Food Safety has become a leading global standard supported by major retailers throughout the world and adopted by over 8,000 food businesses in more than 80 countries. Certification to the Standard verifies technical performance, aids manufacturers' fulfilment of legal obligations, and helps provide protection to the consumer.This "Best Practice Guidelines" series has been produced by the British Retail Consortium (BRC) to promote best practice and compliance with the BRC Standards. These guidelines will help manufacturers and suppliers to adhere to the Standards and win or maintain business and will also help demonstrate the quality, safety and legality of their products. |
