Description: |
Box-set containing all three 'Blade' films. In 'Blade', Wesley Snipes plays the half-human/half-vampire who is possessed with the same powers as his bloodsucking brethren, but without the weaknesses that can destroy them. Acting as a modern day Van Helsing, Blade sets out to foil a plan for a legion of the undead to wipe out mankind, masterminded by vampire overlord Deacon Frost (Stephen Dorff). In 'Blade 2', Blade enters into an alliance with vampire chief Damaskinos in order to eradicate a new strain of vampire which preys on both the living and the undead. Leading an elite vampire combat team known as the 'Blood Pack', Blade visits the Prague nightclub where the new vampires have made their base and makes ready to attack. But this new strain is stronger and more deadly than anything the vampire hunter has come up against before. Finally, in 'Blade Trinity', Blade faces a new challenge when a group of vampires resurrect 'Drake' (Dominic Purcell), the ancient and all-powerful Count Dracula. Teaming up with a group called the Nightstalkers, led by Abigail (Jessica Biel) and her partner Hannibal (Ryan Reynolds), Blade is ready for battle. |
