Description: |
All three stories from the first series of the TV show about a group of telepathically-gifted 1970s British teenagers. In 'Slaves of Jedikiah' the Tomorrow People learn about their fellow telepath Stephen, who is right now in the process of breaking out, and contact him in hospital. They begin helping him to understand his gifts, but before they can finish, Stephen is kidnapped by the robot Jedekiah. In 'The Medusa Strain' the damaged Jedekiah is discovered, repaired, and set going once again, ready to embark on another of his diabolical schemes. Travelling back in time to the 20th century, he visits the Tower of London and encounters Tomorrow Person Carol, who he kidnaps and takes with him into the further reaches of space. Will Carol's friends be able to track her down and save her from the whims of the evil robot? In 'The Vanishing Earth' the kids grow concerned about an increase in seismic activity and undertake to investigate. Soon they uncover a mystery involving the Haunted House on Clacton Pier, molten lava at the centre of the Earth, and an intergalactic super-villain named Spidron. |
