Description: |
All four stories from the third series of the TV show about a group of telepathically-gifted 1970s British teenagers. In 'Secret Weapon', when a new homo superior, Tyso Boswell (Dean Lawrence) breaks out, the Tomorrow People set off to investigate. But Tyso is sold by his father to Colonel Masters' Experimental Weapons Establishment where he is experimented on to find the secrets of the homo superiors. A rescue mission is set into motion, but John, Stephen and Elizabeth have quite a task ahead of them as they have an enemy with military might behind him. 'World's Away' sees Ambassador Timus Irnok Mosta of the Galactic Federation ask the Tomorrow People to travel to the planet Pyrie to help free the Pyrie Telepaths (the 'Vesh'). The man-eating Khultan are persecuting them and when the Tomorrow People arrive they strip them of their powers leaving them in grave danger. John must reinstate their powers and save the Vesh before Elizabeth and Tyso are sacrificed to the Khultan. In 'A Man for Emily' the gang encounter an unusual alien family, who have a great love of Westerns, whilst in 'The Revenge of Jedikiah' the invasion of an Egyptian tomb causes some unusual occurrences. |
