Description: |
All three stories (in 13 episodes) from the second series of the TV show about a group of telepathically-gifted 1970s British teenagers. In 'The Blue and the Green' new student teacher Elizabeth arrives to lead Stephen's art class, and he soon recognises her as another Tomorrow Person. Meanwhile, other students in the class begin to erupt into inexplicable fits of violence. The problem seems to be caused by some paintings which change their colours at random, but who is behind it all? The Tomorrow People decide to find out. In 'A Rift in Time' John and Stephen become perplexed when telepath Peter starts visiting them in their dreams and showing them an ancient vase. The Tomorrow People locate the dream vase in the British Museum, and after tricking Professor Cawston into giving them access, begin their attempts to unlock the vase's secrets. Soon the intrepid teenagers find themselves journeying back in time ready to embark on an adventure in Roman Britain. In 'The Doomsday Men' the Tomorrow People become concerned by reports that a Scottish school is being used as a training ground for the Doomsday Men, a secret organisation that glorifies war as a character-building exercise. Sending Stephen undercover as a student at the school, they soon learn that the Doomsday Men are planning an operation involving the Damocles space station which could effect the signing of a United Nations peace treaty. Can the Tomorrow People now find a way to disrupt the warmongers' plans? |
