| Description: |
Two classic British 'silent' comedies starring Ronnie Barker. 'A Home of Your Own' (1964) is a noisy but wordless comedy of errors following the building of a young couple's dream house. As the incompetent labourers struggle to complete the house, many cups of tea are made, windows are broken and the same section of road is dug up over and over again by the water board, the electricity board and the gas board. In 'Futtock's End' (1969), a weekend gathering at the decaying country home of the eccentric General Futtock (Barker) produces a series of saucy mishaps between staff and guests. |
