| Description: |
Shirley Temple stars in this musical comedy in which she plays Ching Ching, an orphan in Shanghai who stows away on a boat bound for America. Amongst the passengers is Tommy, a playboy who Ching Ching came across in Shanghai and she is taken under his wing. Also amongst the passengers is a young lady who Ching Ching match-makes Tommy with and the couple eventually marry and adopt Ching Ching. However, the marriage is soon on the rocks but Ching Ching with her smiling, dancing, singing routine proves the antidote to all their marriage problems. |
