Art Dodge (Antonio Banderas) is a handsome art dealer who scams widows into buying paintings he alleges that their late partners purchased. Chased off the home of a mob boss, he runs into attractive Betty Kerner (Melanie Griffith). As well as being rich, Betty also has an equally attractive sister, Liz (Daryl Hannah).
