Two-part drama following two British women as they negotiate the chaos and corruption of the politically volatile Niger Delta. Talented young PR executive Alice Omuka (Naomie Harris), the London-born daughter of a wealthy Nigerian businessman, finds herself thrown unprepared into an unstable, poverty-stricken world after a militant group kidnaps three workers from the oil company she represents.
