Road trip drama starring Ethan Peck, Adam Rothenberg and Mariah Carey. When Ellis Armstrong (Peck) is diagnosed with leukaemia, he and his older brother Carter (Rothenberg) set out from their trailer park home in New Mexico to their Tennessee hometown to track down their long-estranged father, in the hope that he could provide the bone marrow donation that Ellis needs to stay alive. Along the way they meet up with waitress and aspiring singer-songwriter Krystal (Carey), sick of her dead end job and abusive marriage, and the three strike out together in search of new beginnings. |
