Description: |
A collection of three Charles Bronson films. 'Someone Behind the Door' (1971) is a psychological thriller starring Anthony Perkins as Larry, a man who uses his skills as a neurologist and brain surgeon to manipulate a hapless amnesiac (Bronson) into murdering his wife and her lover. 'Cold Sweat' (1970) is the English version of a lesser known European thriller. Bronson plays an American ex-patriate, Joe Martin, who is forced into becoming a drugs runner for an evil baron after his family has been kidnapped. As the critical exchange approaches, his adversary is shot, so Joe must keep him alive if he ever wants to see his family again. In the 1969 film, 'Lola' (aka 'Twinky'), a writer of pornographic novels falls for a 16-year-old girl (Susan George) who he then marries. But when the couple move to America, their troubles really begin. |
