Made-for-TV thriller, based on the story by Ian Fleming, about narcotics agents trying to trace heroin shipments in Europe. After a UN agent is murdered trying to trace opium routes in Iran, two of his compatriots take over the case, coming up with an ingenious plan to inject a radioactive isotope into a shipment of opium in order to plot its route through Europe, thereby unearthing the drugs distribution network. Features cameo appearances from stars of the day, including Omar Sharif, Marcello Mastroianni, and Trevor Howard, all eager to show their support for the anti-drug stance of the film. |
